Shrimp 1 pound
Large onion 1
Green chillies 4
Curry leaves 10
Ginger garlic paste 1sp
Grated coconut or coconut powder 1cup
Garam masala powder 11/2 sp
Chilli powder 1sp
Haldi 1/2 sp
Salt to taste
Oil 1/4 cup
Heat oil in pan add onions, chillies, curry leaves and salt.
Saute for 5 mits and add ginger garlic paste, haldi and fry for some more time.
When the onions change into light golden color add shrimp and mix well.
Now add chilli powder and garam masala.
Cook till the shrimp is half cooked and add grated coconut.
Now fry till the coconut looses its raw flavour.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
This recipe goes well with fried rice and also can be added as a side dish.
This recipe serves 4 people.
U can make this recipe with pre cooked shrimp in order to save time.
