Shrimp with coconut milk

We need: Shrimp 1pound Coconut milk 2 cups Onion 1 large Green chillies 2 Garlic cloves 3 Red chilli powder 1sp Haldi 1/4 sp Garam masala 1sp Salt to taste Oil 3sps Method: Grind onion and garlic to paste. Heat oil in pan and add onion garlic paste and cook till raw smell goes. Now add salt, haldi, chilli powder, garam masala and coconut milk. Add little water and cook. Add green chillies and when bubbles come add shrimp and cook. Add some water if requires. Serve hot with rice. Thanks: Thanks Sonali for the recipe, Eshwar likes this curry a lot.

Fish Fry

We need:



Any fish 10piecesEgg 1Ginger Garlic paste 1 1/2 spCorn flour 2spChilli powder 1spHaldi 1/4 spSalt to tasteVeniger 1spSoy sauce 1 1/4 spFish Masala or seasoning 1 1/2 spOil to fryBreadcrums (plain)

Method:

Marinate fish peices with egg, salt, haldi, chilli powder, fish seasoning, veniger, soy sauce, ginger garlic paste,corn flour for atleast 3hrs.Now heat oil in pan to shallow fry fish.Now take a piece of fish and coat it with breadcrums and fry in oil till each side browns up.Serve hot with onions , tomato and lime.

Kaala Jamoon

We need:

Gulab Jamun Mix 1pkt Sugar 2cups Water 11/2 cup Elachi 6 crushed Saffron pinch Oil to deep fry Orange color pinch

Method:

Mix Gulab jamoon mix as u mix for Gulab jamun. In 1/4 part of the mixed dough add color and 1spoon sugar. Now make small balls of the colored dough. Also make little bigger balls with rest of the dough. Now fill the small colored ball into the bigger ball and make a ball again. In a pan add sugar and water and boil to make sugar syrup. Add saffron and also crushed elachi to the syrup to boil. This gives nice color and also nice flavor.
Now deep fry all the jamoons till brown and keep aside. After 3 mits fry the Jamoons again till dark brown color and immediately add the sugar syrup. Let it rest for 1 hr so that the jamoons become soft from inside and also outside.

Tandoori Chicken

We need:

Chicken 2pounds
Onion 1small
Capsicum 1 ( Any color)
Green chillies 4
Garlic 3 chopped
Oil 2 sps
Cilantro 1/4 cup


For Marinating we need:

Curd 1 cup
Chilli powder 1 sp
Ginger Garlic paste 1sp
Garam masala 2 sps
Haldi 1/4 sp
Lemon Juice 2sps
Red or Orange color 1/4 sp
Oil 2sps
Nutmeg 1/4 sp


Method:

Cut chicken into medium size pieces.
Marinate with oil,gingergarlic paste,chilli powder, haldi,nutmeg,lemon juice,color, salt, garam masala and curd for about 2 hrs.

Ina oven safe tray place the chicken pieces seperately so that they dont stick to each other and bake it for 15mits on each side.




Remove from oven and keep aside.
In a pan hear 2 sps oil and add garlic, green chilli which r cut into lengthwise.
Saute for 2 mits and add onion and capsicum which r also cut into lengthwise.
Fry them till they r half cooked.
Now add baked chicken and cilantro.

Saute for 3 mits nad serve hot with lemon.

Tip:

For the best results marinate chicken over night.
