Fried Idly

Todays recipe is little unhealthy but very tasty breakfast. U can make this with leftover idlies or freshly made idlies. Here goes the recipe.........


We need:



Idly batter 2cups
Mustard seeds 1/4 sp
Udad dal 1/4 sp
Jeera 1/4 sp
Sesame seeds 1/4 sp
Cilantro chopped 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil 2 cups



Method:



Make idlies and cut them to half.
Heat oil and deep fry till crisp.
Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds, jeera, udad dal and sesame seeds.
Saute for 2 mits and add cut idlies. Add little haldi and salt to taste. Mix well and transfer to serving plate.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with tomato sauce or hot sauce.
Simple to make and tasty but little unhealthy. Enjoy......

Looks good. I usually just fry in the tadka never deep fried.
