Baked Samosa

Samosa is one of my Fav snack....never tried the baked version of samosa. Made this baked version of Samosa for the BM#10...Here goes the recipe.

We need:

Wheat flour 2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil 2sps
Cooking spray
Potato 2
Mixed veggies 1/4 cup
Green chilli1
Cumin seeds 1sp
Amchur powder 1/4sp
Chilli powder 1/2sp
Fresh cilantro 1/2 cup

Method:

Add little water to wheta flour to make a stiff and smooth dough.
Cover it with damp cloth and rest it for 15 mits.
Meanwhile start preparing the filling.
Heat a pan and add 2 sps oil.
Add cumin seeds, green chilli, potato and mixed veggies. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add salt to taste, amchur powder, chilli powder and mix well.
Cook for another 10minutes on medium flame and add chopped fresh cilantro.
Switch of flame and keep aside.
Preheat oven on 300 degrees F.
Take a small portion of dough and make as small poori. I have used samosa cutter to make these samosa's
Place this poori on the samosa cutter and fill the potato mixture into it.
Now close it and press hard. Remove the excess dough which u can see outside.

Make all the samosa's and keep aside.
Place these Samosa's on greased oven tray and spray cooking spray on the Samosa's.
Bake them for 10minutes on each side.
Remove and serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
