French Toast-How to make perfect French Toast

Do u want to prepare some  healthy and quick  breakfast  dish? French Toast is one such simple and delicious breakfast recipe.French Toast also know as Eggy bread, soaked in beaten and spiced eggs and then fried. In France and Belgium French Toast is called as Pain Perdu, which means lost bread in French because its is the way to reclaim stale or lost bread. The hard bread is softened by dipping in spiced beaten eggs  and then fried in butter and dusted powdered sugar and served with jam or syrup on the side.

For day 2 ,am here to show you how to prepare French Toast. Here is the original recipe of Felicity Cloake who shows us how to prepare the perfect French Toast.

We need:

Method:

Melt down 1 spoon of butter and keep aside.
In a mixing bowl beat  the eggs and add melted butter, salt, sugar, spice powders and lemon zest.
In a separate bowl add flour and little egg mixture to  make a smooth paste.
Now add this to egg mixture in the large bowl and mix well until smooth.
Heat a non stick or regular skillet / pan and add butter.
Now soak the bread slice in egg mixture for 20 to 25 seconds until soft.
Remove and put on the hot pan .
Allow it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes on medium to low flame until nice and crisp.
Flip over and cook on the other side as well.
Remove and serve immediately with some sugar on top.
