Minty Lime Juice

The Minty lime juice is just perfect for the hot climate. This simple and refreshing summer drink tastes great with freshly squeezed lime juice, mint and sugar syrup and few ice cubes. I have added club soda to this drink. If  you do not like club soda just skip it and add regular cold water.

This recipe goes to the 2nd day of BM 76, for week 4 under the theme " Kids Delight- Summer coolers". Here goes the yummy and tasty recipe for mint and lime juice.....

Ingredients:

Mint leaves 10
Sugar 1 cup
Water 1 cup
Lime juice of 1 lime
Club soda 1/2 cup
Mint leaves to garnish
Crushed ice / ice cubes 4

Preparation:

Heat water adding  sugar and mint leaves in a  sauce pan to make a syrup.
Bring it to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Let cool completely.
In a serving glass add 2 spoons of mint  syrup, lime juice  and ice cubes.
Now add club soda and give it a stir.
Garnish with  fresh mint leaves  and serve immediately.

Check to see what my fellow bloggers are cooking for BM 76.

Also sending this recipe to Srivalli's Kids -Delight " Summer Coolers" event hosted by           Amara  Annapaneni for this month.
