Carrot Broccoli Paratha
Today am here with yet another yummy and delicious Indian stuffed flatbread, Carrot broccoli Paratha. Colorful and healthy parathas can be served for breakfast, lunch box or for dinner. Add spices and other seasoning according to your taste.
This recipes goes to the 2nd day of BM 86 for week 4 under the theme " Stuffed flat bread from different countries". Here goes the recipe....
Ingredients:
Grated carrot 1 cup
Grated broccoli 1 cup
Grated garlic 2 spoons
Slat to taste
Red chili flakes 1/2 spoon
Oil
Wheat flour 2 cups
Preparation:
In a cooking pan heat oil and add grated garlic.
Saute for few seconds and add grated carrots and broccoli.
Add salt and chili flakes.
Mix and cook till nice and dry.
Cook till there is no moisture left in the pan.
Set aside.
Add salt and 1 spoon oil to the wheat flour, make it a nice semi soft dough.
Rest aside for 15 minutes.
Now make 4 or 5 medium size balls with dough.
Roll it a bit using dry flour.
Add 1 or 2 spoons of carrot broccoli stuffing and close from all the side and make it a round ball.
Now roll it again carefully so that the filling do not come out.
Heat non stick tawa and cook the paratha on medium heat on both the sides.
Add some ghee , butter or oil on top.
Serve hot with some curds and pickles.
