Cabbage and Peas Pulao

Cooking veggies along with rice is a great way to feed picky eaters. One such dish is Cabbage peas pulao. Chop cabbage into very small pieces or just grate them very thin and use to this below recipe. Its only me who likes cabbage in my home, Hubby dear eats it, as I mostly pack it for his lunch box and  there is no other option left for him than just finishing it. Kids don't even touch the curry 😌. So one day I tried this dish telling them its a peas pulao, for some extent my son had it but my daughter nahhhh.  But for cabbage lovers this is a simple and great 1 pot dish if you want to make something  real quick.

Cabbage and peas make a great combination . I love this veggie , but I have yet to try with rice . I have a Biryani recipe which calls for deep fried cabbage and it tastes awesome . Let me give this pulao a trial it sounds just my types .

My daughter is the opposite. She can eat any vegetable as long as I present it in form of a curry and dal and serve it with rice. No rice dishes for her.
I love cabbage toovand loving this pulao with the addition of peas. Looks very inviting.

This is a great way of sneaking in veggies for kids. But still kids are so sensitive and they tend to find it out, right? With green peas and cabbage the pulao looks so yum.

Interesting way to use cabbage. Kids are smart and would figure it out very quickly. Nice presentation.

My kids don't eat cabbage in sabjis. But if I sneak it in fried rice or some such they won't even complain. Beautiful presentation.

The struggle to get kids to eat different vegetables is eternal. This cabbage and peas pulao looks lovely. I am going to try this on my daughter too.

I am so tempted to try cabbage in a pulao after reading your post. We here get a big size cabbage and I struggle to finish and even feed to the kids. Your pulao is too tempting to try.
