Custard Ice Cream

This is the first time I made  ice cream at home. Checked many websites for the perfect ice cream recipes. Was able to find few interesting  and simple ones. During this process we had few guests at home for dinner. They bought us a yummy Custard ice cream. Then I thought why not make this yummy Ice cream for this weeks theme. The ingredients on the box say only fruits, custard powder, milk and sugar. But I added  condensed milk instead  of sugar to give  it a nice texture and sweetness. So here is the yummy Mango flavored Custard Ice cream for the hot summer days.........

We need:

Milk 2 1/2 cups
Sweetened Condensed Milk 1/2 cup
Sugar 3 spoons
Custard Powder ( Mango flavor)  3spoons
Crushed  Almonds 2 spoons
Tooty fruity 3spoons

Method:

Boil milk till it becomes 3/4 quantity.
Make sure the stove is on low flame.
In a separate bowl add 3spoons custard powder and few spoons of cold milk.
Mix well till the custard powder dissolves in it.
Now add this to the milk boiling on stove and mix well.
Switch off stove and add sugar for the extra sweetness. (If you think the sweetness form the condensed milk is enough for you skip adding sugar.)
Mix it again and let it cool for some more time.
Now add condensed milk and mix it again.
Freeze it for about 2 hour.
Remove and add the mixture in blender and blend it well.
Add crushed almonds and tooty fruity .
Transfer to the same glass or plastic container or any ice cream molds.
Freeze for about 6 to 8 hours.
Remove and serve chilled.
Perfect for the summer day.
